AH36 DH36 EH36 Steel Description
AH36, DH36, EH36 FH36 steels are high-strength marine steel plates commonly used in shipbuildin,specially designed to withstand the harsh marine environment, providing excellent strength and durability to ensure the safety and stability of ships under harsh conditions,mainly used in the construction of hulls and superstructures for large shipping vessels. These grades have a minimum yield strength of 355 MPa (51,000 psi) and a minimum tensile strength of 490-620 MPa (71,000-90,000 psi).
The AH36, DH36, EH36, and FH36 grades are all classified as ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) approved steel grades and are also approved by other classification societies such as DNV GL, LR (Lloyd's Register), BV (Bureau Veritas), and RINA (Registro Italiano Navale).
Classification
Steel AH36:basic grade of high-strength marine steel plates, mainly used for structural parts of the hull, such as hull outer plates and inner compartments. AH36 steel plates have high yield strength and tensile strength, and are suitable for use at room temperature and moderately low temperatures.
DH36 Steel:Compared with AH36, DH36 has better low-temperature toughness and can maintain good performance in lower temperature environments. DH36 is often used in ship structures that need to work at low temperatures, such as ships in cold seas.
EH36 Steel:EH36 has higher strength and toughness, and can withstand higher loads and harsher working environments. EH36 steel plates are often used in key parts of ships, such as decks and keels.
FH36:the highest level of high-strength shipbuilding steel plate with excellent strength and low-temperature toughness. FH36 steel plate is suitable for polar and deep-sea environments and can maintain excellent performance under extreme conditions
AH36, DH36, EH36, and FH36 steel have good toughness properties and high strength, making them ideal for use in the harsh marine environment. These grades are also resistant to corrosion and can withstand extreme temperatures and pressure. They are often used in the construction of large shipping vessels such as tankers, bulk carriers, container ships, and cruise liners.
