202 Stainless Steel Pipes And Tubes
Tubes produced under specification ASTM A554 are intended for use in mechanical applications. In said applications, the SUS 202 Cold Rolled Coiled Tubing material may fulfill the user’s requirements with regards to several parameters not limited but including the product’s appearance, resistance to corrosion, and its mechanical properties. The specification covers the details on the automatic welding process of the Stainless Steel 202 Welded Tube, including the use of a process minus the addition of filler metals. Various shapes are covered by the specifications such as square, round, rectangular, or any other shape requirement of the ASTM A554 TP 202 Instrumentation Tubes specified by the buyer.
Heat analysis of the product is another requirement under the ASTM A554. Since the ASTM A554 TP 202 Welded Tube belongs to the austenitic category of stainless steels, the heat analysis to be conducted on the alloy must conform to the specification. The main chemical makeup consists of elements like chromium, nickel, and manganese. This chemistry imparts the WERKSTOFF NR.1.4373 Heat exchanger Tube with multiple good characteristics such as good resistance to corrosion, good toughness, high hardness, and good tensile strength.
