50Mn2V material properties are high tensile strength and high hardness. 16MnCr5 steel comes under the category of case hardening steel. 50Mn2V comes under low carbon content alloy steel. 16MnCr5 applications are in high tensile building materials, making machine parts like gears, rods, nuts and bolts, arms, rollers, etc. Heat treatments like annealing, tempering, normalization, quenching, or any other condition as required by the customer can be applied to the material.
